髪が痛まない理由
髪は水分を含むとやわらかくなり、乾くと硬くなります。これは、毛髪細胞を横方向でつなぐ水素結合の働き。水素結合は濡れると切断され乾くと再結合する性質があります。
そこで、あらかじめスチーマーで湿熱を加え、加えた湿熱が髪1本1本に浸透していきます。浸透した湿熱がうるおいを与えると同時に水素結合を切断。その後、余分なスチームをただちに蒸発、冷却乾燥する事によってカーラーで巻いた髪の水素結合をそのままの形状で再結合。髪本来の性質を利用して、髪に水分を与えながらカールを作ります。その為、髪を傷めずにカールする事ができます
